Worth Joining Collectors Society?
Hi everyone, just after some views on whether the Master Replicas Studio Scale X-Wing is likely to be offered to CS members first?. Provided its completed and ready for sale that is. The production shots I've seen look great, so demand may be quite high, what with MR losing the SW franchise and this being the last studio scale.
Any opinions or informed guesses gratefully received.

If MR manage to produce/release this in time before their license expires and I`m really hoping they will, then I would think it will be easily obtainable.

Hi Trilogy, thx for your input. I don't suppose it'll be cheap, so that may help getting hold of one, I guess.

Yep, high price tag and a fairly large ES. The combination of the two should make it easily available for some time.

I'm really not sure they will get this out before the end of 2007. Remember they need to actually start shipping it before the end of 2007 due to the license expiring then.

I read somewhere that they have a 3 month window into 2008 in which to sell off all their remaining SW stock. There could be some interesting 'bargains' to be had. I shall have to go looking for the 'official' response to see if that is correct. They are up against it though, time wise.

I believe the three month window is normal procedure to clear all licensed inventory.
