Tweeterhead: MOTU - He-Man Legends Life-Size Bust

Quote:
Well folks, one of our first products of 2023 is VERY close to being sculpt complete - The He-Man "Legends" Life-Size Bust!!!

We're still doing some final editing to the digital file, that's why this is more of a teaser, but we are so close to being done with the sculpture we couldn't wait! We wanted to get 2023 started off with some cool new previews (or in this case, a teaser!)

Hoping to have this guy ready for solicitation before too long, and we can't wait to show you him in all his finished glory! He's going to pair so well with the Skeletor Bust!

Still curious to see how this looks even though I don't collect busts.

If this one looks good, I suspect there will be a run on Skeletor life size busts.

Here's the He-Man bust concept shown at PowerCon 2021.
Both He-Man and Skeletor busts for reference to tide us over.

Here's the Tweeterhead Presents: "Maquettes of the Universe" panel for Power-Con where I yammered for 30 minutes with a 20 min Q&A at the end.

My talking speed may or may not have been affected by the 2 cups of coffee and large energy drink I had before the presentation, but the weekend was exhausting (in the best way) and I needed that extra boost.

I think I met a couple of statueforum'ers at the show, had a blast, hope to meet some more of you guys and gals next year!

Nice, they probably had this reveal planned during Sideshows 12 days event before it got canned.

Since the TH Skeletor bust looks exactly like the new maquetee, we should assume the upcoming He-man maquette will look just like this bust. I'll probably be in the minority here but I'm not a fan of the Greyskull pauldron on his shoulder.

I like it, since this isn't going to look like any established iconic representation of He-Man but I prefer it be removeable.

While the new Skeletor maquette has a very similar body to the bust the head and portrait sculpts are totally different. I prefer the maquette's so much, especially the classic laughing portrait, that I wish Tweeterhead would do a run of this bust with that laughing portrait. Had they made the skull separate on these it would be a great additional part to sell.
And I liked this bust to get 2 already.

Too often busts have very neutral, stoic, museum poses and expressions. Cinemaquette Lycan and PCS's Akuma busts are great examples how the right expression can really elevate a life size piece.

Here's the slide from PowerCon 2022 where we showed a slight update to the concept art.

We're actually going to try and make it removable, no promises though... I think it really helps balance out the piece with the Power Sword on his back on the other side, and I always dug that original concept update when Stjepan did the original concept for the Sideshow piece YEARS ago...

No cape on this though.

The pauldron has grown on me. Can’t wait to see the full reveal.
Speaking of reveals…
Igo, can you give us a timeline of when we can expect to see the Sorceress and/or Beastman Legends going up for preorder? Or at least when we should look for any reveals?
