No, sir. You are not alone. I prefer the painted version as well. I even love the bite taken out of the asteroid Surfer's standing on.

After further review, I may have to change my vote to the Surfer as well. The painted version specifically. I have the faux bronze version and even that one is amazing.

The Painted Surfer is top notch! Maybe the only statue I regret selling (I am hardcore MB so limited FS in the collection). It nails the character and Bowen style at the same time.

I always liked the Spider-Man six arm bust. Few times almost bought it second hand to put in living room bcs it is unique.
Kucharek Brothers did a great job on the Bowen mini bust line..
Some company should redesign this one as a 1/4 bust.

The Marvel piece that started it all. Red Full Size Daredevil for me.

Yeah, I'm one of those guys. I like the Sosa/Koto Spidey more. I also prefer the Kotobukiya Magneto as well. Arguments can be made for Koto's Psylocke, Gambit, and Colossus too. It just boils down to preference.
My pick for most iconic would be the faux bronze smackdown HULK. It's such a powerful and dynamic sculpt but I didn't like the green paint apps on the original release. IMO, it was too light and yellowish for my tastes. My jaw dropped when I first saw the faux bronze version of it. It was absolute perfection in my eyes and I knew immediately that I was going to add it to my collection.

For me the most iconic statue from Bowen Designs is the original Juggernaut FS. It captures The Juggernaut while moving forward and for me it emphasizes not only Juggernaut’s enormous strength but also his unique power of being virtually unstoppable once he is pushing forward.
Nothing can stop The Juggernaut… NOTHING!

As soon as I saw the title of this thread, I thought it would be a draw between Smack Hulk and Museum Surfer.
While I have personal favorites that I like better, they are not "most iconic"
Still a draw in my eyes

I'm going Spinning Hammer Thor...ever since I saw it I was blown away by the spinning hammer effect and the dramatic nature of the design. It screams Thor God of Thunder. Fantastic piece that looks like it hopped right off the page.
