I am on the waiting list for replacement body, I wonder if I should get a refund instead. If mine is the regular would be no brainer, I would ask for a refund for sure.
Despite of the serious issue, why the EX is still selling way above retail price in the after market?

Me too. If I can get a replacement body that's painted right, I want to keep her. If not, then they are going to let me return her. I'm not keeping a $300 statue that will keep getting worse and worse.

the body on mine was fine, but the base was cracking all over, yet they offered a replacement body

Wow. Not laying primer is just plain low. Lowbrow chinese factories!
I'm gonna email Sideshow and share my concern.
Any pics for me to back up the claim, Vince?

Only pic i can supply is the stripped down version of her when i get home tomorrow from my parents for mother day weekend.
But if up got a flaking piece and you have to destroy or replace it. Just scrape it with your finger nail, you will see there is nothing under the skin except resin.

Yup, I did this before I destroyed mine once my replacement came through, absolutely no primer at all.
