I'm guessing this will be on display at Monsterpalooza in a few weeks.

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

I agree, I'm definitely a fan of the younger look, and I do like the new design, but certainly wouldn't hurt to tweak it a little, Igo says this Bust looks much better in person, and I trust him, so I'm excited to see it as a possible preview of what the maquette's face will look like

They knocked Skeletor out of the park. As long as He-Man is the same then everything's dandy.

Short of a natural disaster, the He-Man bust will be at Monsterpalooza with a Skeletor Bust so people can see the two together.

Going into this project I knew it would be infinitely more polarizing than Skeletor... Everyone has a different idea of what makes He-Man HE-MAN, especially in the portrait... Skeletor felt a lot "easier" in a way, I mean, it's a cool skull guy!

But for He-Man, from the original toy and mini comics, to the filmation show, to Dolph Lundgren, the 200x show, and all the other amazing artists that have contributed to his legacy like Earl Norem and Rudy Obrero, there have been a bunch of iterations of him... what people feel as iconic or "THIS!" or whatever to He-Man is all over the map.

We're taking a risk just by doing this as a Bust FIRST, and I think it will pay off... We know we can't force people to like our iteration of him, you'll either love him or it's not for you, and that's fine. We can't win EVERYONE over, and to try to do that is a fools errand.

But looking at this thing in person, I think it's amazing... Our color render (which we used strictly as color reference for the painter) looks a certain way, and when people see the actual sculpt of this thing, it's going to hopefully win that many more people over. We'll see, but I love what we have done with it.
