Alaska's gorgeous... our first trip up there was on a Princess cruiseship, down the Inside Passage.. stopped off in various port towns and did dog-sledding on a glacier, pontoon-planing around lakes, etc... lots of fun.
Plus, the ship itself is a blast.
But Russia's really an experience all its own. Glad to see that you and yours had a good time.

I'll take a trip to St. Petersburg and Sochie next trip. Looking forward to a trip to an Datcha (summer house) in the country too.

They are the cities founding fathers. Cannot remember their names. It's located outside St. Basils.
