Dr_Teng's photography

I took a break from photography for a year or two and finally started getting into it again when I bought my XSI. I've been getting back into the groove again over the last few months and thought it was about time to throw down in the photography forum.

My older stuff has my ol' dr_teng angry watermark, the newer stuff is from my review website.

I'm more than happy to answer questions, no worries.

For that particular shot (and about 90% of the shots I do) I'm shooting on a Canon Rebel XSI + Canon 50mm 1.4 lens. I'd say I was about a foot and a half away, and I cropped it down to that tight.

I used a flash, bounced off my roof, through a home-made lightbox.

http://www.strobist.blogspot.com/200...to-studio.html << that's where I learned how to do it. I'm on my second (and improved) version of it, but the Superman shot was taken with the first. I always slightly modify colours/contrast/sharpness in photoshop as the final step.
