Hey Guys - Just Wondering...

What was the inspiration for the great Hulk Statue you did for BD in 2003?

Any pictures or issues in particular?

well firstly it was just that Randy had asked us to do a fullsize Hulk, we were psyched for that just in general, and although you might never see it I then went and rented a bio on Andre the Giant who is my all time favorite celebrity and just focused on a low center of body weight.
It was not based on any particular artist But I have always loved John Buscema and often refer to his Drawing Comics the Marvel Way, not that I have effectively rendered any of those rules, I probably scewed the pooch on most of them.

I'm not sure how many in progress shots we have of him hosted so I'll just post some random hulks, sorry

this is a super old right at the beginning hulk based on Gary Franks art that Peter David bought off us at a show and his later told us he had in his writing room. it pains me to look at now but at the time it was a huge confidence builder because I was reading all those peter david hulk issues.

Thanks so much for the response! It's great to see some of those older Hulk sculpts!

I chose to get the Hulk in grey - I think the sculpt you did look perfect in that color Hulk.

Thanks again!
