I quite liked Jack Reacher. Not that I know anything about the books, but I thought the movie was good fun.

Sabotage: 6/10 - And that's a generous 6 because it's Arnie. It started out OK (very Expendables like) with the bad-@ss team taking out drug cartels, but it when off the rails quickly. The story was basic but poorly told, and most of Arnie's team were so un-likeable that you couldn't wait for them to die. And I'm all for a bit of Hollywood violence but this went too far. It was almost Eli Roth-esque in the way some of the scene's were handled. Really un-necessary.

Lucy 6/10

Raised some interesting ideas, but felt more like a rehash of earlier, better films.

I respectfully disagree with you. I actually love the pacing of the movie and the nostalgic feel of a 70's and 80's crime action drama (the likes of Clint Eastwood's and Charles Brunson's films). I give it an 8.

The Wolverine ~ 6/10

Had its ups and downs but still quite solid. The train sequence was crazy

There is a very cool ibook you can download for free on The Wolverine movie. It's interactive and pretty cool for a freebie

Rise of the Planet of the Apes (just got caught up) 7.5/10

Divergent (8/10) Second viewing. The soundtrack is awful. The movie is enjoyable.

Snowpiercer 6/10. Tries to be a smarter than it is. Don't see it in the theatre. Netflix, at best.

Edge of Tomorrow 8.5/10 (saw it twice) currently in my top five of the year.

Lucy 7.5/10 get past the bad science theory, and you get a fun action film. 2001 with rampant gun battles.

Hercules. 7/10 debunks the mythology/mystical nature of the lore to ground it in realistic terms. Not afraid to poke fun of itself. It's a fun popcorn flick.
