Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

Sincerely hope you are VERY pleased with this.

It's still very "meh" to me - I wouldn't have bought this even if it was one of Narin's 1:5 / 1:6 pieces and cost $200 - and that's as someone who has multiple copies of almost every one of his GK releases.

Each to their own though - and I hope EVERYONE who gets one of these is thrilled with it.

Thanks! I'll take that as a compliment. And yes, the statue is that awesome.

Now this is a worthwhile bashing opinion which just had to be shared, right? Did you feel good about yourself posting that delightful thought for the masses to read? Do you think you come off as particularly bright or eloquent by dumping all over a statue and saying it isn't worth 10% the price? Clearly, your intent is to trash it. To what end exactly?

Good grief. The frakkin' internet.

Congrats on the piece. Absolutely love your pics. I can not wait until I get mine now. What's your favorite switch outs? How big is it in person?

Thanks!

With the spear in hand, the statue is approximately 35 inches tall. Without the spear, it's approximately 27 inches tall. Right now, I prefer the unmasked portrait but that may change as I quite like both portrait options. I like the spear and double blades options for the arm pieces. However, the reverse is another interesting display option too. I was futzing with a white photo background today to see how the colors might splash off of it.

Check out how long the spear is:

Here is a quickie scale shot so you can get a better sense of the size of the supreme scale line.
