I recently went back to the beginning of Vertigo and started reading Hellblazer. Wow the writing on that book is awesome.

It's worth it Anything Snyder seems to be involved just turns out great.

Just read Walking Dead #100.. first comic I've bought in years, for the most part (I usually wait for tbs/hbs).

Great read...

Just finished issue 2. Story has me interested, and I actually like all the little notes collected in the back of the issues. I'll give it till issues 5 or 6 to see if I continue on.

Spent the morning with a stack of funny books. Read World War Hulk tpb, Batman Earth One, and X-O #3. Love, love Nords work in X-O, so fresh. WW Hulk is, imo, as awesome as Planet Hulk. Love how all the Marvel heroes fight it out in NYC, artwork was beautiful also. Lastly, I think Earth One was amazing. Love the different origin story of Batman and the interlaced web of Cobblepot, the Arkhams, Babs Gordon, and especially Alfred. Good times.

The recent comics I've read:
New 52 Wonder Woman vol.1 Blood pretty awesome
Gotham City Sirens series Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn are great in it (the best version of Poison Ivy that I know of so far), but the story I felt was lacking a bit and Catwoman could've been better
Hush and Heart of Hush both great (I think Heart of Hush improved the romance that I thought was going poorly in the second half of Hush)
Magneto: Testament so far the best account of Magneto's origin that I've read
Catwoman: When in Rome pretty awesome fight between Catwoman and Cheetah
Batwoman: Hydrology better than the first Batwoman book, even the art looked better
Whedon's Astonishing X-Men loved how the characters were portrayed, but I think it could've used a better ending
Garth Ennis' Punisher hardcovers 1 and 2, and From First to Last badass, and a great take on the character

Yeah, I've read a lot of comics recently... :P

P.S. I read the first volume of Crossed by Garth Ennis, and I was pretty disappointed. It seemed like it was never edited, there were grammatical errors all over the place, making the dialogue difficult to understand. And, the characters and plot were poorly developed. I liked the violence, so I'm wondering: does the series get any better?
