Statues are no longer collectable . They are over inflated and have no scarcity. SS is not really interested in the after market value. Buy what u really really like.

Well I guess the Court is just about over, most other people on here who liked it have already bailed out, I've tried to hang on because I love these things, I'm not sure why they stopped promoting it? This Con had some cool pieces, especially Marvel pieces, although I still see people not wanting repeats of even that line, I'm really shocked that they had nothing like a Dejah, Aspen or Red Sonja type piece either, also I guess that new line with the Dragonslayer was a one time thing, I'm definitely not their target audience anymore, I cancelled Ellianastis and wont be ordering Stryfe or Shieve which were only B level characters I wanted to fill out the COTD world, shame, but oh well I guess I can buy more MOTU origins figures now with no statues to order for the foreseeable future except possibly the Dragonslayer when I can see the actual production piece

Yes… I’ve noticed a big fall off in promotion of these as well. Shieve will be my last purchased piece of the line likely. I will not, however, try to sell… I love the ones I have.

I agree with you, as anyone knows who reads this forum, I've been kinda obsessed with this line, and I'm pissed at how they've treated it the last 2 years, but I still love my pieces and wont be selling mine either, I also ask sideshow why there was no COTD stuff at the Con and they said there is more than one Con this year and not to lose faith, but I think they already lost a lot of people's interest unfortunately

I'm not lamenting the lack of major announcements in this line, doesn't mean I don't still love my pieces. I wouldn't say the line is dead at all (pun intended). They've moved into some other areas to appeal to different collectors. You get what you can and what you love. That said, we got some great designs out of this and with a limited audience, I feel one announcement a year is probably what to expect.
