This could be a whole different thread...

Stuff we'd like to see in "absolute" form...

I'm like babytoxie that way. I want everything in oversized/slipcased/HC form. WORD.

Well, I personally wouldn't want EVERYTHING in Absolute form. Ok, who am I kidding, I DO, but my wallet wouldn't be very happy, LOL!! I rather see the less recent books first though. I don't think there was any immediate need for "Absolute Hush" (this one is planned, right?).

I hear you bro, just got a little excited. Upcomming Absolute editions:

Hush (meh, but I'm still gettin it)
Watchmen
Crisis On Infinite Earths

and even though it wasn't announced as an "absolute edition" there is an oversized slipcases HC of the Alex Ross/Paul Dini tabloid comics coming out (you know the ones with supes, batman, WW, JLA etc). Actually, it was supposed to be out a couple of weeks ago, but has been delayed to August. Boo...

You can also pretty much bet an another "Planetary Absolute edition", finishing out the series, and I'm guessing Kingdom Come and DK aren't to far off...

I thought Planetary was on-going? Does this mean there will only be 2 Absolute Volumes?

Most likely. Planetary is over in a few issues, Warren Ellis has been quoted as saying, "the end of planetary is in sight". So yeah, probably 2 absolute volumes. WORD.

I LOVE the oversized/slipcased/HC format!!! Nothing looks better on the shelves...well, with the exception of my fine statues!

Dang it, just read the three superman stories. Dang it Rucka told a great story, and the art successfully matches the story. Man, this was one great read. Can't wait for the conclusion.
