is black desert that popular, all my friends who were playing it stopped because they said it got boring quickly plus the game is leaning heavily towards PVP. But because of the sheer amount of mmo are out there games like black desert and final fantasy 14 stand out. not sure how credible this site is but it shows the number of players in mmo https://mmo-population.com/list
