I agree on the large grimlock statue, that was rather bizarre. They do have a smaller grimlock for around $250 that is very cool though so they do know how to do it.
He even said it would be a purple barrel

They are no longer doing the straight up toon version with the cartoon shading. This will have quite a bit more detail yet still be very G1 to make most of us happy. Kind of like G1 masterpiece but obviously on a much grander scale here. Can?t wait for the info like price/size/release date.

I thought this was going to cell-shaded like their previous releases. Not sure if it's going to match with all the extra detailing. Think I might on the fence for now

Cell shading was proving to be pricey. While I would of preferred it, I think this still looks great. The feelers they put out I think was showing that this style would sell more.

With how awesome those legs look detail wise where you can see the individual robot forms makes me think this is a must to have a mirror behind it.
