And simultaneously new ones are produced within countries to be injected into the global turnaround + replacing lost/old/damaged ones.
From what I’ve read they are being shipped back empty. The quicker they go back the faster they can earn bucks instead of sitting in our docks waiting for goods to go back to Asia.

Aside from something being wierd with her eyes on the portrait where she is looking straight ahead - this statue ticks so many boxes for me as a great embodiment of the character.

No idea who produced it.
Fingers crossed for TH to eventually present a superior version.

That is a classic representation of the classic Perez version of this character. If that is the version that Tweeterhead is going for which I’m sure it is I am sure they will knock it out of the park

The general design and concept does look nice. Doing more with the portrait would be appreciated and maybe a bit more texture throughout.

I'm sure TH could take this general idea and knock it out of the park!

This is not a criticism of Tweeterhead!

It looks like TH, for all practical purposes, has dropped its DC superhero line. I don't blame them--if you can't get product shipped and when shipped it doesn't sell, a company doesn't have much choice. But with so many MOTU pieces announced (not a property I care for) and no activity on superheroes, I guess it's over except for Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. Yes, I know we're getting Flash and a very cool John Stewart. But I had such high hopes to get all the cool heroes they announced (and others they hadn't but I'm sure would have been made ... ). But with no new announcements and prices skyrocketing out of control, we're back to no new product to get excited about. To lose Deathstroke but get a MOTU Mermaid Man or whatever ... I wish them the best, but it is disappointing.

There was only MOTU stuff revealed over the weekend because there was a MOTU convention going on. There will be more DC stuff coming.

The Super Powers line is done, but as far as I know the 2.0 line is going strong. We have Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Scarecrow coming also. Shipping is backed up so that's delayed some things. We'll see more heroes (maybe not the Wonder Twins). I wouldn't worry about that.

I'm not sure where you're getting the information to infer this. Super Powers (super classic DC looks) has long since been mentioned as done, but super heroes are still going strong.

We have seen Wonder Woman and Flash unpainted. Shown a shadow image of Harley. Been hinted at the Hawkgirl, modern Catwoman, and Zatanna. And that is just ladies! What I think you're missing is the fact that Igo and Chad stated that they are not releasing pieces right now because there is no time table that they can expect/predict to get these pieces to collectors. They feel it is unfair to put items up for order, have us put down deposits or pay in full when nobody has any idea when things will arrive (and I agree). I imagine factories only have so much space and the safety/quality of pieces can only be guaranteed so long before damages just get eaten on their end. No point in cramming a bunch sh!t in a storage locker in China when you can just slow down production.

Also, nobody said there wouldn't be a Deathstroke. That is just ridiculous speculation on your part. If you want out of the collecting game, that's your call, but don't put it on TH not releasing pieces being the reason because they said they will make them. I don't think they want to be the next Prime 1 dropping tons of releases, taking people's money and then canceling/not delivering until 2+ years down the line.

Finally - it was Power Con this weekend. So of course TH was going to show new MOTU pieces. The convention was dedicated to this one license. Foolish not to. Just like them using SS to showcase the WW and Flash during Online SDCC.

I like how Tweeterhead hold back more often than not. I have no doubt they could announce six DC pieces now that will be out over next few years. This hobby is all about patience. Either waiting for announcements or waiting for the piece to arrive.

Power Con was this weekend so TH appropriately went nuts showing what they had planned for the line. DC statues had no place there so why would they divert attention from convention-specific products to show off something that doesn't belong?

I don't know what else TH can do to keep their customers informed. They have announcements on their social media, a newsletter, and have a presence on this forum. Also, people immediately post on the forum any info that pops up so there are ample sources to go to in order to keep up to date.

The knee-jerk "sky is falling" reaction from people in this hobby is unreal. Every little thing that doesn't happen the way they want/expect apparently means lines are cancelled, businesses are going under, or whatever other nonsense they can think of in their frantic race to be the first to post everything they "know" for some imaginary internet points.
