Iron Studios: DC Comics 1:10 Scale Statues

Sideshow has the 1/3 Joker listed as coming soon even though it's already available to order on the site. There's probably hot toys figures that have been cancelled or released that still show as coming soon. That section of the site isn't very reliable.

I'm surprised they haven't released another Superman yet. The first one was 1 of their early figures and only available in Brazil I believe before they expanded to the US. When I first started collecting IS I looked far and wide through dozens of search pages on google to try and find one and I couldn't. I think I only saw 1 on ebay one time for like $300. I decided to pass. Would be nice if they would re-release some of their original lineup of figures.

I got Superman but I've been after Joker and Aquaman forever. I can't bring myself to pay the after market prices, especially when they aren't numbered.

They are making a new Aquaman with the long hair and beard with hook hand.
And they are making a new Joker.
I don't think those old series 1-3 statues really hold up, I'm personally waiting for the inevitable upgrades.

I appreciate the first runs that we were given.

Joker is exceptional as is the Punisher, Hawkman, Catwoman....

I think it is just a matter of taste.

Yeah I will get the new ones if I like them but I have a feeling I'll still prefer the first releases.

The pose on the first Aquaman is so cool and I love the first Joker too.

I'm sure the new ones will have the full environment bases which I don't like as much.

Maybe when the new ones comes out some people will try to sell the older ones and I can get lucky.

Question: Are the recent Iron Studios 1/10 pieces hefty and solid or do they feel hollow?

The last piece I got from them was the Justice League Batman on Gargoyle which I thought was a significant downgrade from the BVS Batman they released. The justice league one was disappointing as it's very lightweight and had a much smaller body compared to the hefty BvS version.
