HCG Resident Evil Afterlife: 1/4 Alice

http://www.hollywood-collectibles.co...vil_alice.html
Anyone getting this?
I think the likeness is there but, where are all her weapons?
Personally, I would prefer a different version but this one is pretty cool. Still undecided, though.

But theres nothing really 'Resident Evil' about her. It looks kind of bland. In fact, one of the dullest sculpts I've ever seen from HCG. So much for 'The Alice statue looks amazing so far!' lol

where are all the weapons, is right. Two shotguns? No thanks

Plus, Id much prefer an earlier version of her, maybe a red dress RE1, or better yet, that cool desert costume from RE3, with the cool daggers.

ORDERED. EASY BUY. I have been waiting for a 1/4 statue of her. Hell Yes!!!

I do think they are getting carried away with a 750 edition size, probly not the smartest thing in the world.

Overall this is tempting and will make for a great display with SS' Patient Zero PF. However, I find the likeness lacking on this. Other than that, details seem decent on this sculpt.

I'm quite tempted . . . would like to see a few more pics, but looks pretty cool. Would be good to have her facing off against the Executioner !

There are probly more weapons that will come with her, just no pics yet. I hope. Looks like she has a sword scabbard on her back. I bet we get the weapons but they wont be interchangable with the guns shes holding. Either way Im in, I like it and I think the portrait looks just like her.

Yeah I got the email about this earlier too.

The face sculpt is good, likeness wise, though she looks almost zombie-like herself with such a neutral expression, which I'm not a big fan of...she should look more determined, here she just looks bored or stoned to me.

But most of all I don't like the proportions on the body. It all just seems too wide and flat to me, the legs and torso especially, and that's before you even get to the overall stiffness of the pose in general.

It's a shame, because I'd be prepared to bite on an Alice piece ordinarily, but from what I've seen I'm just not feeling this one unfortunately.

If they do another one though I hope it's a red dress version personally.

I doubt you will see another version of this. This one is it.
