Is this your first statue? You'll be very unhappy in this hobby if you expect the final product to be exactly as the prototype shown on pictures.

Usually when people say not to expect the final product to look like the prototype they are talking in terms of paint application.
Seeing two ponytails when looking at it from the optimal position looks better than simply one. I got told it was a variation which to me sounds like lingo for "not my problem"
By your logic the people complaining about 1/3 Chun-Li having webbed hands is minor. This line of thinking is how quality diminishes on collectibles. The figure is not a mcdonalds toy.
And guess what I got a new hair piece and it looks pretty close to the stock picture position/angle. Ignore the camera distortion since it makes it look weird. Who woulda thunk?
