The prototype has been created. Shame to see it totally go to waste.
I also think, given all the visual interest contained in just the head gear, that a 1/2 scale bust could be off-the-wall amazing as well.
It would probably come in over 2' wide, making it a non starter for a lot of people.
For the people that could find room, it would be a showstopper, for sure.

I bet Hela in PVC at under $60 would be a sellout! That statue is gorgeous and with that headgear, PVC just makes sense.

It hasn't come into the warehouse yet that I know of. They may have sold out their pre-order, but pre-orders have been up for at LEAST six months.

THat said, this is not a new "direction," it's just how this piece is. Next up is Bullseye, he's going to be in the normal price range.

Thanks for the update.

"Meanwhile, fans who missed the first production run of the classic Thor Premier Collection statue are getting another crack at him, as a new run of Premier Collection Thor on Rainbow Bridge has been solicited for order as well.
I suspect DST didn’t sell anywhere near the LE 3000 edition size the first time out with this piece, so I see no problem with them going back to produce more of the edition. Hopefully there’s a lot more interest now that the scene-completing Silver Surfer is available as well!"
The article above says the Thor statue is getting re-issued. Does it means now there will be 6000 of the Thor statue????!!

No, this is a similar situation to the Batman rogue busts -- there will still be 3000. We did not make the full run before.
