Emma Frost, original wax sculpture images...

This piece is old news but I *think* these particular images are new to most of you. These are the very last shots I took of the original wax sculpt before sending the approved maquette in to Sideshow HQ for molding. There are 101 things I don't like about this sculpt (first and foremost, the HAIR. ugh)... But the experience was fun, working with Adam is always a blast.

That lady is BREATHTAKING with or WITHOUT paint!! The only thing I don't like about her is that she is not on my shelf. I started collecting statues only recently. I missed out on that wonderful statue. Thank you for showing us Andy. She is a PERFECTLY gorgeous IDEAL beauty

Andy,

I am fortunate enough to own this piece myself and the hair is one of my least favorite aspects of the sculpture, what other issue's do you have with her?

If you could follow your own art direction on her, what would have been differant?

All in all in my modest opinion she is an outstanding sculpture and my next biggest complaint for her was in the paints. I felt it was a bit too glossy..

thanks for sharing Andy!!!

I love this piece but my only gripe with it is the hair. If the colour were alittle darker and maybe some more fine lines scripped into it, it would have been perfect. But overall this piece is fantastic.
