I'm still on the fence on this one. The fact that Prime 1 did a very similar piece that looks better in almost every way including paint job, I'm not sure if I want to spend $1400 on a statue that, according to the reviews is very light and thin...
I just can't decide ...

I wouldn't worry about it being light, as long as it's structurally sound enough it will be fine. The P1 JP stuff is mostly plastic and super light too. I personally went with the P1 version of the rotunda, but not sure that's even an option anymore as it's sold out pretty much everywhere. That and the cost difference is pretty significant.

You do realize all statues come out light and then factories inject polystone into them to make them seem heavy, right?

I did not know that but... the P1 version, you can see how thick it is when you attach the T Rex tail to it. It just seems to me that Chronicle Rotunda was thinner and lighter than most... To be honest, the paint job is the main reason I'm not sure. He should have been darker

If I remember the paint job on the Chronicles is the same style as the the larger T-Rex in the Museum in Texas I think.

Any more pics of this?
I like this piece a lot but I'm still leaning towards the 1/15 P1 T-Rex... Any thoughts?

Thank you for the input. I prefer pay $2100 for the P1 Rotunda rather than spending $1400 on CC and not be absolutely happy with it.
I'd rather pay $900 for P1 1/15 because I still love the concept and base but finding one is not easy
Thanks again

That's debatable, unless you are only talking paint application.

I would spend the money and get the P1 rotunda(if you can find one). Aftermarket prices for pretty much anything JP is double or more of retail once they sell out so you are probably looking at $1500+ now for the P1 1/15 rex(again, if you can find one). Last time I checked there were a couple on eBay, I was actually considering letting mine go if they were getting that much for them.
