Sounds like a strong business strategy. Have you been a member of Congress long?
That last one has a weird break though. Seems like it had to have happened in the factory.

I got mine, two minor imperfections on the board but will probably end up keeping it, didn't bother me too much and I don't want to risk getting a replacement that may be worse.

I'm all for companies profiting, but jeezus bajeezus this is the tortures of the damned for a collector. It's not unheard of for a company to do a solid for a customer now and then, it's good for business.

They have gone above and beyond numerous times for me, even getting the occasional goodie. Giving away their statues outside of a contest, no, that’s not good for business. It’s actually inviting problems.

They need to do something for these hopefully rare bad experiences. Can’t imagine having to deal with all that for an expensive collectible. Half off the next one? Doing something human and recognizing someone’s ordeal is good customer relations. We talk amongst each other
after all. And if it’s rare, it should be a small impact to the bottom line.
I’ve eaten problems from SS, fixed things I should not have had to. Even got a statue soaked in stagnant water had to wash off and touch up where it ate away the paint. Or paid for a custom jacket for Indiana Jones statue that rotted apart years later. Part of the hobby I’ve
come to expect.

first silver surfer I ordered had paint bubbles.
second replacement(body) had scratches and a dent and wouldn't key in to base.
third FULL replacement of statue has an indent in his peck and scratches
Im now sending it all back, 3 time loser and they couldn't give me a proper statue. They offered me 45 bucks or full refund. They wouldn't do any more replacements. I can't keep this with the indent on his chest/peck, its the first thing your eyes go to.
I really do love the statue and want one.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I guess I wasn't the only one that was having multiple issues. But after the 5th return they finally got it right.
