Their 1/5 Captain Marvel (Avengers Assemble line) was also very, very well done. That's a slept-on portrait. Maybe it wasn't sculpted to be as 'pretty' as this but so far as female faces go, its really good.
As for this statue - can't go wrong with it. Love the action pose, the portrait everything. I won't be getting it but wow, what a statue!

What a stunning portrait!!!!
Thank you so much for posting these pics.
Side note?. Not to take away from the piece because it is a lovely sculpt but I would love to see the base lit up and/or the arm blasts.
Thank you for posting.
Congrats!

Better than a Captain Marvel? Two Captain Marvel!
Love the piece, especially the face sculpt. Sideshow nailed this one.

They both look great. Both have their own individual strengths and come out to about equal to me right now.
Personally I always prefer comic accuracy so that tips me over to the newer one.

The base.. looks almost like biomatter.
Why are the lowest part of the butter-beams emerging from edge of the base, and not the center?

Now that I've had her for several days, I don't even look at the base or photon blasts anymore. Just her.

you are most def right on the sucky base paint apps...but that face man....base can be easily repainted but the face sculpt if bad then thats a tough fix
