I cried so hard during that episode. I wasn't even mad it was changed from the game cause I loved it so much.

Jesus Emotional Christ - episode 3…
Left me lookin like a raccoon. Give HBO another Emmy already.

There is something that goes on later in the game that Im sure I will also find very emotional when it comes up in an episode. Just won?t hit like this did.

No no. Not the second game, though yes, that one is gonna sting.

I’m talking about an opposite feeling of episode 3. A feeling of uncomfortable disgust that I felt while playing the first game. Think of the parts that are similar to book The Road…

The way they changed this Bill story was fantastic.

I love that Joel and Ellie bonded over a diarrhea joke, and it's probably the first time we've seen Joel smile or laugh...he's getting attached to his "cargo", despite his intention not to. Also, the quick scene with that cracked cement floor, it begins to heave upwards a bit...what in the name of cordyceps is going on underneath the city, color me intrigued.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I had forgotten the stupid puns! I keep waiting for her to find comic books because lord knows I hunted high and low for them in the comics.

It’s probably a Bloater and several regulars. Nothing gets to me more than Clickers though. Jerky, unnatural movements always make me jumpy. Watching even the simplest horror movie makes me uneasy when a person contorts and moves.

There are so many great things about the show. The thing that pulls me in so intently is the fantastic world building (or collapsing) that is shown via the stark, devastating images. I continue to love the not so grand video game elements that have made it to the show - most fun in this episode being Ellie finding the joke book.

Also, this episode states clearly that Joel has done very bad things. For those who have played the two games, this line about being on both sides strikes hard. I do not think the show can significantly alter Joel and Ellie’s fates from the games, but I am curious if there will be any deviation with Henry and Sam.
