I'm happy for those who wanted a 1/2. At the same time, I'm disappointed they did not make a 1/3 Returns suit. I think they reused the 1/3 89 sculpt to make this one and make up for the middling sales of the 89 1/3 version.

They won't make me mad releasing any of their greatest hits in 1/2 using the identical sculpt.
Won't mind a bit.
They could still do a Returns suit.

I mean it is basically the same statue as the 1/3. Those who want 1/2 can be happy now.

Yeah, I was only half paying attention and for sure thought it was going to be the Returns suit.

Yeah I wish it was the returns suit or a little different pose. I have the 1/3 still coming from secret compass so don?t know if I will cancel it or not. Feel like I should keep it a little too to go with cat woman, but I want the 1/2 to go with the bust I picked up a few months back. Still doesn?t feel right having the exact same piece of 1/3 and 1/2 ?.

For me, 1/2 scale pieces always look strange when you see them in person. It's like a toddler wearing a costume in your living room. Just wrong. :P

Eh I think it depends on the piece. This piece may have that effect. I think it because at a certain size our mind expects movement and a museum posed statue seems unnatural to not have some motion.
1/2 pieces in more fluid poses do not exhibit this for me at least.

Always thought that argument was silly for a lot of the newer 1/2 figures.
Sure, if it’s a character like Darth Vader with the giant helmet, all that overflowing fabric, and with the odd looking proportions than maybe.
But if it’s a tight superhero costume, with proper adult proportions than no. Especially when there’s an unmasked headsculpt.
