Artgerm is the goat and new Tifa design is so much better. If someone wants old tifa design nothing stops you from finding few sharp stones and painting them

Artgerm is amazingly talented, and his art is really beautiful. Yet, the issue with him is that he's overused and relied on way too heavily to fix other people's problems. Sideshow has almost made it a guarantee that they'll release some crappy looking statue with some shoddy looking control art AND THEN they'll have Artgerm come in to redraw their design in his style to make it look like they were just following his art when it was entirely the other way around. Look at their first Supergirl PF if you wanna see how long ago it's been since they started this nonsense.
But other than that, his works are very static and exclusively pin-up. And if you think his work is ugly or bad because of that, then you might as well say you hate Wingstop because their chicken soup is bad (they don't make chicken soup). His Tifa looks beautiful. But it's just that her redesign as a whole sucks - she has more clothes, looks more combat ready, and she looks older than she's supposed to be. It's not his fault, imo.

So I guess the deluxe ver of this statue is wait listed everywhere. Guess they hit their edition size or orders were cut off? Is this how statues without an edition size work?

Tbh I don't know, but what i think is Square Enix placed an order for "x" amount and they all sold out.
What you can do, if you still want it, is wait for just before the release. Square enix will relist some allocation which were cancelled. That's how I got the DX Diorama.
