I think the main challenge this line faces, is not so much what pose to go for, but what equipment to include.
Dumbbell's offer the simplest solution. To include an entire workout machine would result in increased cost to the consumer. If PCS were to copy a machine, maybe there are rights that would need to be overcome which could be avoided if PCS invented their own machines 'inspired' by what is out there in the real world.

PCS should have had a plan to maybe offer 8 characters situated in the gym at the same time, each character making use of different pieces of equipment working on different muscle groups.
Something like that

This wouldn't have been that hard to make for Cammy. A small bench for one knee and one dumbbell versus Chun squatting a full barbell.
