The fabric is extremely dated. I never got the hype, but to each their own.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

What the count on FB if you don't mind me asking? Are there any Ex. for less that $2800?

Peeps definitely missed the boat on when to sell the OG.

It’s still the best, though his hood tends to let that one down, but this one definitely scratches the itch in a way that Doom on cosmic toilet didn’t. It’s a worthy successor.

I’m biased though.
Both are on my list. I also have the OG X-Men dio on there. Some pieces are just timeless.

I'm not sure that happens as much now because of the ridiculous edition sizes. I think Thanos on throne is headed there but not to many in recent memory.

Exactly. I'm not arguing that it isn't a grail. I even said it's a grail to some. That doesn't mean it is to everyone though. A valuable item to some may not share the same value for others, and neither party is wrong, it's all just a different point of view and everyone has the right to feel differently about something. Some people are huge fans of Bermejo's Joker and so that Prime 1 statue is a grail to them because of their love for the comic or design or whatever, but that value can be diminished for others unfamiliar or not as big a fan. A rolex watch may have little to no value to a person who doesn't wear watches at all, but to the market sellers or owners of one, it may mean the world to them, that's all. No offense was intended.

To me it's not about value or how much they go for on the aftermarket but more that certain pieces reach this iconic level of fame.

Obviously it's all subjective but I do think there are some that are universally viewed that way.

In all honesty I like the new doom. Sculpted on the hood works well

But at $780 depending on edition size ...and other legit competitors releases

I dare say .... if 2500 all in or more .... it’s a guarantee loss. On secondary market should sell around $700 TOPS plus fees and shipping.... (exclusive sucks)

Maybe you walk away at peak point $675 cash if your lucky

So.... yeah... cool Doom.... just make sure you keep him

Because sideshow priced it where they take any and all profit
