Day 1 PO. Hoping the base isn’t extremely deep.

All these TH statues are so cool. My collection is all Superman, but I'm seriously tempted to dedicate one wall to these pieces.

The statue itself looks fantastic but I do agree with whoever said I hope that the base does not overpower the statue
The only thing that disappoints me is the fact that that spear is making the statue taller than what it looks like it actually is which can definitely restrict display options depending what a person has. I was hoping that there would’ve been a switch out hand holding the lasso or the spear

I assume Ares himself will be stone? Maybe the helmet will have some color. And the flames. Shouldn't be too overpowering. But if I'm honest I don't think I quite understand what is going on in the base.

The original silhouette showed the lasso in her left hand and the photo with the pieces laid out showed a right hand with a sword hilt. So that's 2 other options. I've also been hoping for a lasso twirling arm...which could go with the left hand holding the lasso.
So far, I'm not really liking the Ares base, but am willing to see it painted. I'm not typically a fan of a secondary character involved in the base design. It pulls focus from the main subject. But I definitely don't understand what that stylized mess is on the front of her boots.
I'd much rather have an alternate simpler/smaller base. There's a lot going on there...and honestly it feels similar to previous releases from other companies.

The one thing I do have to say about the statue it looks like she would be a little bit more of an equal height to Superman and Batman
The first wonder woman statue I believe is only 13 inches tall where both the superman and Batman statues were 16 to 17 inches
And I would’ve loved to of seen a twirling lasso similar to what BOwen did with Thor spinning his hammer

My shelf space has been dusted, shined, and reserved. I've made all the preparations.
