I am right now at this stage and know exactly what your plan is.
...believe me... there still will be an upcoming statue you need or want. But you will not be too sad to miss a statue you like... but you will still be in the ones you love ;-)

It’s good this days to enjoy what you already got. So:
Congratulations to Canary. I really like this museum pose and her cool look. It?s simple but sexy and like: ?Pay attention, I am ready for action!?

I am excited to see your next steps of optimizing your displays.

Bettie Page 3/4 Bust by Executive Replicas

The Bettie Page bust arrived a number of weeks ago..
The out of the box shot's were taken using a mobile phone.

The original plan was to display the bust in front of the Bettie Page art print by Sideshow Collectibles

On opening the box, i was a little surprised by how small the bust looks.

I thought the bust was supposed to be 1/3 scale.
Executive Replicas refer to the size as 3/4 scale.
3/4 scale is not a scale i am familiar with.

I would describe 3/4 scale as the large end of 1/4 scale, the small end of 1/3 scale. Why call use the term 3/4 scale?

The skin tone is far darker than the prototype implies.

Given the small size. The bust is overpriced.

To give viewers an idea of the size of the 3/4 bust, i decided to take a picture with Bettie Page next to the Prime 1 Studio - Heath Ledger Joker 1/3 scale Bust.

All in all a nice enough bust that would look better if it was twice the size

One thing i would say is, the quality is high. Paint lines look sharp.

Oh dear... sounds like Bettie is a disappointment.

Scale really seems to be wrong or irritating. I think you are right to guess 3/4 is near to 1/1 then smaller to 1/3. That’s a disappointment.

I had 1/3 in my mind. I do not recall seeing 3/4 scale being applied to any other pieces in this hobby?

Ideally they should have included an apple or can in one of the images.
As far as i can tell, i failed to find the height mentioned on the official website?

It's a nice enough piece. Way way over priced.

Sorry to hear the Bettie was undersized, nice looking bust. The Joker ledger is amazing, just picked one up a few weeks ago.

I thought the 3/4 meant 3/4 of her torso.
Yes different from what we are accustomed being advertised to.

3/4 scale would be the same thing as 1/1.3 scale.

They're either being deliberately deceptive, or they're stupid.

Factions were my pet hate when it came to School and mathematics
My 3/4 scale logik amounts to.. 3x the size of a Sideshow 1/4 / PF piece.

Juggernaut Maquette by Sideshow Collectibles
..is in the house!

This piece is massive! BIG CHUNKY, the largest 1/4 scale in my collection.
In person, Juggernaut looks excellent!
Zero complaints from my side

Paint app on the portrait looks on point.
The teeth are very well painted.
The weathering on the metal looks very good.

Juggernaut's hands are slightly smaller than my own hands (i have big hands).

If i wanted to be hyper picky:
During assembly, the various parts that are required to be attached to the base feel plasticky.
Once Juggernaut is in place, everything looks great!

-

I am having to obtain the Sideshow Gambit PF at some point.
I prefer the EX ..maybe one will should up for a normal price at some point.
