Without Remorse 4/10

Maybe my expectations were too high. I was really expecting to like this one.

Rambo - Last Blood

4.5/10

Far more far fetched compared to previous offerings. While i get that is all part of the fun, Last Blood somehow fails to contain anywhere near the same amount of action compared to previous Rambo offerings. Besides, what sort of opponents (human traffickers) stand any chance of defeating the mighty Rambo?

Last Blood has a short run time of 1hr 19mins and that includes bloating out the final minutes with memories (footage) from previous Rambo movies. I got the impression they failed to shoot enough material.

Romeo and Juliet (2013) 9/10

I'm no Shakespeare expert but it was fine. This is the first time that i watched the original play in film form from start to finish other than the altarnate verison of Leonardo Decaprio that i saw in theathers when i was a teenager.

Hailee Steinfeld

Catwoman 8/10
Halle Berry, Sharon Stone

To see two of my favorite actresses in a film is great.

NOW I've seen everything. I knew Clown World wasn't just a meme , you can see it everywhere you look, but an 8/10 for arguably the worst film ever made...now I know I'm in hell.

Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) - Determined to ensure Superman's ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne aligns forces with Diana Prince with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions.

It was certainly more cohesive than the theatrical release. Despite all the things I still found wrong with this version, I'll give it a passing grade. 6/10

The world would be boring if we all liked the same thing, right ?

Sonic the Hedgehog - A very average film bu most metrics, but if you grew up with Sonic is better than expected adaptation by Hollywood. I feel like a 4/10 for non fans and a 7/10 for fans.

The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021) - Follows Holiday during her career as she is targeted by the Federal Department of Narcotics with an undercover sting operation led by black Federal Agent Jimmy Fletcher, with whom she had a tumultuous affair.

It was raw. Director Lee Daniels did not shy away from the depictions of sex and drug abuse. 6/10
