The mods in the Prime 1 FB group locked all threads discussing the bust except for the dedicated price discussion thread started by Kelvin -- then they locked that one because "emotions ran high."
Setting aside the completely justifiable outrage, I would hardly call the content of that thread uncivil. They really are a bunch of groupies over there. If the company values customer feedback as much as they claim, they should welcome a waterfall of clear, consistent responses like this.

Like others have said, I can see the price being justified for that amazing proto with its movie quality paint job... But not for something that could well end up being just a step above Sideshow quality in the end.
And I especially don't see what would make the masked versions worth $900.

Yea, it will be very interesting to see what's this busts fate down the road? I'll be keeping a squinted eye on this guy... I think they figure at $89 USD a month for 10 months, most collectors can swing it & pay the piper, but I'm not so sure in this case...lol

Hence why they are offering 4 types of portraits. By doing this they essentially pissed off just about all 1/3 FS buyers. It's the ultimate dumb move.
Offering a discount to buyers of the 1/3 would have been the smarter long term move and also not sour potential buyers of the 1/3 CH in both price (as collectors may not want to depart any more money, which will hurt profits of the 1/3 CH) and in practice (Prime 1 may have been on track to restore some faith, but they've lost it all because of this low blow move).

P1 says they listen to their customers, hence the changes they made to the 1/3 statue, but I'm wondering if they will listen to us about these busts...
Time will tell

Yea, I was almost 100% certain they would give $200 off on the bust, to those who ordered the full 1/3 statue too... You know like the same deal they offered with the 1/4 JH Predator & Victim on the Tree statue? Boy was I wrong... They may end up offering that discount if sales at $900 a pop goes nowhere...

I was thinking this would be $700 by default. $500-600 logically, then an additional $100 just because they can.
But they really took their markup to another level.

Yep, it's getting to the point where you have to brace yourself & take a seat before you peek at their prices... Just when you adapt & adjust to their current prices, they out do themselves once again!
