I don't see that at all...
But like all conventions the lighting is bad...

I do like Demona's idea but I imagine the gargoyle base will look great next to Batman's gargoyle base.

Thanks!
But the latter part of your sentence assumes that the collector has/wants a Batman to match. I don't have, nor will have, any Batman. Plus, unless a statue is meant to be in the same scene (ala SS Danger Room X-Men, XM's Sentinel base X-Men), I would think most people like statues to be standalone. Wish more companies would think like this. Especially on consistently repeated characters.
Bowen and Tweeterhead are nice about that. They show the character for who they are, regardless of their connection to other characters. The only exception I can think of is the 1:6 Bat Family that has cohesive bases.

I can see that. This Catwoman looks like a mix of her and Cobie Smulders to me. And I'm ok with that.

I can post lots of comic book pictures showing Catwoman on rooftops and gargoyles and what not. So the base is true to the character, it's just been done a lot lately... But if they did show Catwoman on top of a safe people would still complain saying they're copying Blackcat or DC Collectables one where she's on a safe... it's kind of a lose-lose situation where you can't please everyone...
Also, TW Catwoman is also on a rooftop with a lion statue head, it might not be a gargoyle but it's basically the same thing...

That statue gets a pass bc it’s stunning and not in the same, tired goggle leather suit.
And I am well aware that Catwoman goes around on roofs and perches places. I just wish companies would get the concept to either give us a different suit or change the scene. Something other than SSDD.
And Catwoman is a character who has several really good costumes that look different from each other. XM would have sold triple the number of statues if they did a Balent version. Yes, it doesn’t fit the New 52 theme, but maybe they should consider it in the future.

It comes down to what license XM has, from what I know their license is only for the New 52/Rebirth costumes and some iconic comic covers for Batman statues... I believe TH has the license for all the comic costumes pre 52.

Not bad. But imo isn’t good enough to be the price it will be priced at. It looks like it is worth half that price.
