I was hoping the IG Omnibus was gonna contain the Infinity Gauntlet mini-series, Infity crusade mini, & Infinity Crusade(can't remember which way around the last two came out)

No interest in all the tie-ins, so I'll stick with my Jim Starlin signed tpb of the Infinity Gauntley

Next for me is FF Omnibus by Hickman

Ok, didn't pick up Annihilation because its so dam expensive. Was on a limited budget.
I did pick up Sleepers Omnibus, which is highly recommended. Brubaker and Sean Phillips at their best. I love their work on Criminal and Incognito.
Also picked up DMZ Vol 2 HC and Daredevil Mark Waid Vol 3 HC which ends the run.

Sorry - I didn't see this before - the answer is yes... and no. You find out what happened to a few of the heroes after the battle with Thanos - the best tie-ins are the Dr Strange issues - and the Surfer issues, of course, it helps the core story when you know where all the heroes went - it made it better, to me anyways. But it's not essential to any of the story

Hope that helps.

BTW - I, for one, am glad that the Gauntlet Omnibus does not include anything from the Crusade series - that was a very disappointing read as well as the Infinity War

Picked up my Amazing Spiderman Omnibus #2 while eating dinner tonight & read a few stories while suckin' down some ribs & corn on the cob (yes, I was very careful). My Gosh! Just what amazing issues Lee & Romita did together. Just absolute works of art. I read the arc where Norman Osborne regains his knowledge of who Spiderman is after suffering amnesia & he & Spidey so duke it out over the streets on NYC that I'm still blown away 45 years after it was written (ASM 66, 67, Spect. SM 2, Annual 5). These issues were beyond perfect. I hope that Marvel plugs right along w/ a V3 & picks right up with issue 68 of this Silver Age absolute masterpiece in storytelling.

Sure. Disney now owns Star Wars too.
I may pick that up!

I haven't read anything other than the FCBD issue. Are these specials worth getting as an omnibus?
