*resin can be cheaper then polystone :P

Both have varying degrees of quality, generally the polystone used in these statues is essentially low quality resin that's been mixed. Casting quality is also pretty important.

So i did get the Valkyrie today.. however it arrived damaged. I started to take pictures but was sabatoged by the damages.. I'll post what i did take. Just kinda was bummed , stopped taking photos all together. Most the damages were at the assembly joints.

The statue is nice, aside from the damages. I have already contacted Spencer, and they are working with me. Spencer took the time to call back. They are sending out replacement parts. I am sending back the parts that didnt make the trip.

The base is in fact hollow just to confirm. The rest of the statue is solid. its overall height is 3FT not 21 inches... This is a huge issue for my displaying it. As is i dont have much room, i suppose this will not end up going in a besta.

Looks nice. What happened with the damages, the packaging looks sturdy enough. Is it really 3FT high? That is a 9 inch difference, that is really a lot.

Are you talking paint chips, or were those pieces supposed to be permanently glued and broke?

Thank you for the info.
I didn't realize that pure is resin so much cheaper than polystone that solid statues are possibility.

Don't care about the weight of a statue but surely that must help with breakages (although from the very first pics posted, maybe not....)
