Ed Mcguiness.
has anybody here ever got a pvt commission from ed mcguiness? i'm thinking of getting one at the ny comic con, how much does he charge?...

I don't know how much he charges, I am just posting to bump your thead back to the top. Someone will have something of value to say I am sure.  Did you see if he had a website? Sometimes they list general pricing ideas based on size and amount of detail. Just an idea.

I can't say for certain cause I was only at one con where he was, but I got the impression that he doesn't do them. I'm a huge fan too, and he was MOBBED at Heroes. It was crazy. I could be wrong, but I've not seen hardly any commissions by him on the CAF board. I have seen simple head sketches though. Good luck, EDEX is one of my favorite duos in comics.

At SDCC in 2005 he was charging $200 for a full figure pencil.

hey ish, i got one set up for myself, my friend and his brother. they were all $100 full figure pencils. i got a phoenix from him which you can see in my caf gallery. kordos, tony

I don't know why , but I'm not impressed with his artwork. I never liked it on batman superman.
