Different artists have different styles, but I think you have to be careful which artists you base statues on. Looking at the face and some of the basics, it is probably a nice sculpt. But I just don't like what his costume looks like. I like my statues to be detailed, and nicely done, but more traditional in style. When I saw a post that there was a new Wolverine statue, I thought I would check it out, but this isn't my thing.

Why does Attakus always make superb Star Wars stuff but their Marvel stuff always looks so....stiff or awkward?

i dont know if this is as bad as people are making it to be
im very fimiliar with his work
and this is very close, you obviously had to change some aspects of the design to fit a sculpt, i honestly think with more pics of this people might warm up to it.

however this isnt really a good choice for a statue imho
how many good statues are of a character walking forward,
I cant think of any
Im sure there are but not too many

its not even that easy to portray in the drawing thus the reason Gabriel left the drawing a bit sketchy instead of tightening it up. Its a subtle action sometimes that makes its harder to send the message across.

there are 20 better logan\wolverine illustrations by dellotto
but if they finish the rest of the characters in that drawing it would Look SICK!

I think it looks awesome, love the style and appreciate the difference if they keep making the same old stuff it gets boring
