I'm still loving all of these. I'm usually pretty sensitive to slapstick, but somehow the MCU is able to toe that fine line of being fun and not excessively annoying.

My ranking so far of best to worst (maybe "less best" as none of these are bad)...
  1. Captain Carter - In this shortened format, this one still was able to hit all the right notes for me.
  2. Star Lord T'Challa - Super fun and similar thoughts to Captain Carter
  3. Dark Strange - This one had the strongest emotional core of all the episodes, but again the shortened format hamstrings those beats from being as effective as they could have been.
  4. King Killmonger - I loved this, but the lack of an actual ending drops it a bit.
  5. Marvel Zombies - Also super fun, but the super compressed storytelling that plagues all of these affected the emotional scenes in this one.
  6. Party Thor - Super fun, but kinda inconsequential
  7. S.H.I.E.L.D. - A decent story, I just didn't connect with it as much as the others (again, just too rushed).

This Thor one didn't feel like What If? To me, it felt like a different universe and tone entirely. Like kids goofy MCU. Sort of meh to me.

I really dug this week's episode and it'll be tough figuring out where that should go. Where did you place it?

great episode, and Ultron-Vision looked really cool! my only questions are:

Spoiler
in all the multiverse none of these other realities have weapons that can stand up to the infinity stones? shouldn't each reality have their own version of the infinity stones? how can the infinity stones from "our" reality overpower all these other realities?

I think the MCU is using a different set of rules than the comics in that regard. Have to see how final episode handles it.

My problem with the episode...

Spoiler
...was that Ultron disposed of Thanos who had the other five infinity stones way too easily. I found that hard to believe considering how much trouble Thanos with five stones gave the Avengers in Infinity War.
