Wouldn't that be the icing on this cake?!

A lot of his action figures are more in line with statues than traditional action figures. I'm not really down with DC Direct (nothing against it), but I'm excited to see what McFarlane brings to the table. Some of those Spawn figures are pretty amazing.

Yeah he had a dragon series that was amazing too. But at the end of the day.... figures. Not sure what his allergy is to statues, but hopefully it changes. Like you said, he's practically there already with the design and details.

Yes Originally the Batman B&Ws were $50, and gradually they went up in price.

Here's the thing though, since this is a licensed agreement, something DC Direct never had to worry about I think we're going to see the prices go up, so I wouldn't expect those same awesome prices we had before.

I can agree about the price increase

Even though I think if they still maintain the same scale they will be less expensive than other statues but I don’t think they’re gonna be quite the bargain that they were

I lost hope for this statue after my order was cancelled.

Do I dare get my hopes again?

If Bombshells can stay at $150 I'd be happy. If we're talking $200+ be hard to swallow.

The line "McFarlane will also manage current DC Direct inventory" has me hoping at least some of those canceled pieces from last year will finally see the light of day.

The line "McFarlane will also manage current DC Direct inventory" also gives me some amount of hope that we'll see more of the statues that didn't get much distribution, like the Bombshells Starfire. Overall, this has been about the only good news about some favorite lines we've had in quite a while, so it's very encouraging.
