Justice League "Snyder Cut" in 2021

I still have a hard time believing it will make much difference. The whole tone of these movies was off. I already hate hearing Jesse's voice in the teaser.

I mean how good can it be? Dawn of Justice sucked too.

True, which also means that getting Joss Whedon to "fix" it was a waste of time and money.

Warner just needs to learn to get things right the first time.

That's the part I never understood about all these people clamoring for the Snyder cut. We already saw him botch the previous movies so what will be different?

It is crazy to me to think the biggest bad in DC will finally show up...in a edit of an old movie being release on a streaming service.

I mean, I'm giving it a chance.

Not everyone disliked the first JL either so why redo it?

I didn't care for MoS or BvS so the chances of me liking his JL are pretty slim.

1. Money to be made.

2. There are not plans for sequels so it doesn't muck up continuity. If Jutice League made 1.5 billion we'd be talking about Justice League 2 by Joss and this discussion wouldn't be taking place.

The Theatrical version was an 1 hour and 50 mins long so if he's releasing a version that's twice as long as that I would say that would change the story somewhat... unless it's just an extra 2 hours of fight scenes...

From what I read the profit line was $700 million, and they just came short of that at $657 million, so I figure they're gambling with releasing a new version will push the overall earnings closer to a billion and make the film actually profitable. Even though critics panned the movie with a 41% on RT, fans seem to enjoy it with a 71% rating. So why not give it a shot, I don't think they have a lot to lose... To make everything profitable I would guess they would only need to make around $300 million from the release...

That number one reason is the only one they need. I guess I'm just very skeptical it will make a bad movie good based on what I've seen previously. I'm still hopeful but expecting more of the same.
