I seriously doubt it. It's probably already in production.

Pieces don't usually go into production until after PO. I really doubt it's in production already.

Yeah, one, it was blasted with 200000 kw of light and two, that thing had to have just been prepped to show now. No possible way it’s in production. Might not even be fully engineered. I’m not worried about it looking that way down the line.
Bane looked good today...I’m coming around on that one.

gladiator hulk had a similar seam on the prototype when it was shown at sdcc that the production piece did not have, not saying it still wont be there for access to paint but theres a chance it might get filled

I agree. There is a pattern here, where SS is releasing the more “simplified” costume design/paint apps. Since virus, I think they are making a push to get these out ASAP. First Colossus and Flash, now Bane, Surfer, symbiote Spidey, which all have relatively “simple” design/Color schemes. And I believe the prices for these releases will be “reasonable”, again effects of the virus and the times.
And the seams will be fixed. 100%.

This.
Besides the protos are not even made out of the same stuff.
Not a chance a production piece would have that leg seam. This thing probably got painted within the last few days. For anyone paying attention, SS usually brings new stuff to SDCC that they are literally racing to finish painting to show on the floor.

I'm not worried about the leg seam. The arm seam however looks like a functional necessity for paint and shipping purposes.
