I have a feeling that they'll be based off The Real Ghostbusters. Hollywood Collectibles already put out a 1/4 line based off of the film and Chronicle Collectibles (unfortunately) never got to release their 1/6 line before going under.
If it is based off the cartoon then I am definitely in trouble  PCS does a great job with their cartoon-based properties and this one might light the ol' OCD nostalgia spark.

How far along is the Battletoads set? Will they be united on a large single base or on separate breakaway bases? Are they going to be standing there or dynamically posed? If this looks like a one and done deal for the license, I would take liberties to make the whole ensemble interesting but authentic, like the terrain from the box art or a game level, maybe an enemy rat creature from the game as an exclusive bonus, I forgot what they're called.
I don't think Battletoads ever got a proper sequel, they just went into Double Dragon crossovers, so in any case, I think they should stay grounded in their original designs.
