Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

Hell, yeah, me too
And the story could be a good mix between Jurassic Parc and Terminator.

Considering it's Nolan and Abrams working on this together it should be good. I was a huge fan of their Personal Interest series, was really bummed when CBS cancelled it.

I know zilch about this series and never saw the movie, but HBO tends to make series that I love -- so I'm in!

Not sure how close they will stick to the original movie, but in the movie, Westworld was like a high-tech theme park where you could live out any fantasy like being a cowboy in the old west with robots that looked like real humans. Until one day the robots starting killing everyone.
You should defiantly watch the original movie, it was really good. It was written and directed by Michael Crichton (Jurassic Park fame)

Agree with Towelie, the original is a great movie, seen it many times. That being said, this does peak my interest unfortunately I do not have HBO.

Oooooo murderous AI -- I'm sold. And how have I never read this Crichton book?! #fail
Instantly I thought of one of the best Simpsons episodes ever where they vacation at Itchy & Scratchy land
