Loved this movie & found myself googling it's many Welsh' Mythological components after. It was beautiful & actually could fall under the Christmas Movie category.
On a side note - I'm a big lover of Fantasy & Sword & Sorcery Writer, Michael Moorc0ck & this movie was the closest thing I've ever come to that felt like one of his tales, there was a lot of Corum in it. Especially his 2nd trilogy.

I followed this one early, and it was my most anticipated movie for more than a year (pandemic delay). One of my favorite teaser trailers ever. Saw it upon release, and while I'd still
rate it highly like you, I don't love it like I thought I would. That's mostly due to the tone, atmosphere and score of the trailer being different than the actual movie.

It's a matter of expectations, as I assumed something more consistently ominous/foreboding. Perhaps a second viewing will elevate it again for me.
But Lowery, Aster, and Eggers remain the directors I keep the closest eye on. The Northman was the next up, and I was a little let down by the trailer, so maybe that one will surprise me.
