Last one I ordered from secret compass the shipping ended up being 3x more expensive then if I ordered direct standard not economy from prime 1 and took 9 additional months since release.

Nine months longer and triple the shipping cost? How did they justify this? Did you keep the order or just cancel?

Well, crap. Glad I only went to Secret Compass for the Jungle Hunter. Ordered everything else through Spec Fiction, most of which had free shipping deals with a mere $50 upcharge on the base price.

I hope that's not the case, I've purchased from them in the past and have always been able to workout good shipping costs.

where do you live and what was the total shipping? I find it hard to believe that SC would declare themselves official Prime retailer and then charge more to ship to US buyers than what Prime would charge directly.
