I'd like this if the portraits were better.

I see the villain that fights kenshin, not scarecrow.

It just goes to show that a teaser is just that - a teaser. I loved the teaser and early details shown.
This newly revealed statue pic however - very disappointed. The head sculpts are terrible and this doesn't feel like Scarecrow to me at all (even knowing it is a samurai version). Starting to lose faith in XM these days.

Wow I think this looks great though. With this specific portrait. I think the body should look more raggedy/tattered though.
The base is awesome! Giant bat demon coming from the floor. Awesome!

I take it as that’s how this version channels his fear gas. Makes not much sense, I know, but suspending disbelief a little.

Even though I am critical of the Scarecrow figure, I do agree that the base is awesome and the best part of this.

I really like the paint on the fear gas. Multichromatic or whatever is very effective. And that demon-ish thing is cool. I'm been meh on most of the samurai bases.

Yeah, it just looks a little awkward to me.
I will say I do like how the base is the hallucination (I'm assuming). Really brings the piece together as opposed to just something to stand on.
