Hey guys, any reason to order from Sideshow or Prime 1 versus one another ?
I like that Prime 1 lets you pay the installments over more months, so less money monthly.
But I also live in California and not far from the Sideshow distributor, so if shipping will be a lot cheaper with them then I would get it from them.
Hopefully someone has some insight here. Thanks!

He probably did.
But if you have issues it’ll probably be easier had you purchased from Prime 1 directly.
So one way of thinking about it is, that the extra cost in shipping is like warranty insurance.

I don’t believe you would pay sales tax from P1 either, so the cost may be a bit closer than expected.

I've heard that Prime 1 charges 2-3x the shipping they have listed for the US. Anyone know if there's truth to that?

I ordered the Aloy EX for $1100 from SpecFictionShop (after a $30 coupon you can get from signing up and doing some things to earn points), which has free shipping for her to the continental U.S. and no tax, at least if you're not from CA as far as I know. Otherwise, I think the best place to get her would be Secret Compass since their shipping is very cheap and no tax outside of CO. I avoid Sideshow because they charge tax which is quite a lot for such expensive statues.

They offer an estimate when checking out and now that some pieces are shipping if it's not economy (available in the US) those shipping prices have sky rocketed right now which is no surprise. Economy has gone up as well but the increases I've seen there are generally not much.
