I like this a lot. I also like that they're doing this character. I hope it completes peoples line ups! Can't wait to see it as part of the team. I can see how the base may present a display challenge, but Im sure people who figure it out, it will look great.

Sure. But with today's prices, I don't think a theme base among pieces is really going to drive sales here. You either like this, or you don't.

At least the base is DIFFERENT (so that is a plus). I think the overall statue is really good but I'm not a big enough X-Men fan to get it.

While this Beast is unexpected, I give IS mad props for doing a different costume and and underserved character. I hope the 1/4 line continues and the designs for the characters aren?t Jim Lee 90s rehashes.

Oh man ...the body sculpt doesn't look great in this angle. I don't even mind the pose ...but that body sculpt is not working for me.

Krakoa base?
Overall I like it. But I have my XM Beast which looks great and perfectly fits my 90s line up.
Only way I might buy another Beast is if it was classic Avengers style that doesn’t look too goofy.

None that I know of. It looks like they went the XM route and did their own version. But I can see where they could’ve taken elements from the comics.
He’s had similar black and yellow trunks in the comics at times.
