Honestly, I think the switch to collector editions only would lead to the need for them to reach out to distributors less. I think the mindset is “If you don’t need exclusive, don’t buy from sideshow”. If the transition means, “hey, there is only one version so we aren’t offering distributor deals anymore” people don’t have a choice.
And the truth is, they still making mega money of the distributor versions sold at a discount haha.
Just a thought. I think sideshow is a stand up company anyways with very solid policies, customer service, and quality. Buying from a local distributor is still supporting sideshow.
